Mark’s practice is focused on assisting individuals and corporate entities acquire and protect their intellectual property assets. Mark’s practice also includes assisting individuals and corporate entities monetize their intellectual property assets by developing and implementing royalty-generating licensing campaigns. Mark has practiced law with an emphasis in the area of intellectual property since 2005.
Mark has represented clients in courtrooms and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in a wide range of industries and technologies. He has litigated cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, in disputes over fitness equipment, electrical and electromechanical systems, and computer software and hardware. Mark also has experience in prosecuting patents and trademarks and has been involved in several reexamination proceedings.
Prior to joining MB, Mark practiced intellectual property law at Workman Nydegger in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mark also served as a judicial extern for Judge Randall R. Rader at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, in Washington D.C.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, riding his dirt bike, and wakeboarding.
